Yes, it’s #WorkoutWednesday and this week we’re going to talk on how to workout our mind. Hope one of your “New Years” resolutions was to read more this year. Don’t get it twisted reading is cool and You can always learn something new everyday just by reading more.
Check out a few of my top picks.

  1. If you haven’t read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” I suggest you do. It’s a great book to read especially if you’re one of those dad’s that are stuck in your old ways. In this book you get to read points of view from a “rich dad” and a “poor/ middle’‘ class dad. It’s an eye opener for those who grew up with a poor dad or no dad.

2. “Make Your Kid A Money Genius” is a book all parents should get and read to their children. Everything around us involves money one way or the other, so why not teach yourself and your children how to be a money genius. Facts, they’re not going to learn this in school. So educate yourself so you can empower your little ones.

3. Good To Great~ is a management book  that describes how companies transition from being good companies to great companies, and how most companies fail to make the transition. If you’re a business owner or thinking of starting your own business then invest your time reading this right here.

4. If you’re a “New” dad we have your back. Let me just say I wish I had a book like this 12 years ago when my son was first born.“Go-To Guide for New Dads” is a must read. There’s a lot of great info on how to support your partner while in the beginning stages of Parenthood. Trust me, you’ll thank me later and your partner will love you even more than before.

5. “Another One”(Dj Khaled voice) If you’re a hiphop head like myself and want the scoop on how to win in these streets you need to read, “The Key” so you can unlock the gates of success. In the words of Dj Khaled you need to respect the code, BELIEVE in your hustle and no matter what WIN,WIN and keep Winning!

Start the year right with these books. Take some time out from social media and exercise your mind. Knowledge is power and the more you gain the richer you become.
